Information about the REAL ID

Starting May 7, 2025, travelers aged 18 and older will need a REAL ID-compliant document to fly domestically. Acceptable documents include state-issued driver's license or ID cards with the REAL ID marking (a star or similar), or alternative forms of identification like a valid passport.

To get a REAL ID, you must visit your local DMV and provide the documents required for this. It can take about 2 weeks or 15 business days to process this. Plan now to get your REAL ID if you want to fly domestically.

Make your way down the popular wine trail in Santorini to explore three wine estates. Your driver will pick you up from your port destination and transport to the wine estates, where you'll discover from wine experts how the local wine is made with a presentation and tour. Santorini wine is known for its unique flavors since the wine grape varieties are derived from mineral and rock laden volcanic dirt. Wine producers fine tune distinctive wine flavors with unique processes, such as using stone terraces to ensure the volcanic soil absorbs more rainwater or wine pruning to produce the mineral infused flavors that the indigenous Assyrtiko grapes provide.

Your tour will also take you to explore the vineyards of each estate, which sit among the rolling hills and along the coastline of the Santorini caldera. Wrap up your wine tour by indulging in savory Santorini snacks like Cycladic cheese as you sample three glasses of wine before heading back to your port destination.

From learning about Santorini's centuries long viniculture to exploring wine estates under the guidance of wine experts who know all about volcanic winemaking, this private wine tour is worth your time.
