Information about the REAL ID

 

Starting May 7, 2025, travelers aged 18 and older will need a REAL ID-compliant document to fly domestically. Acceptable documents include state-issued driver's license or ID cards with the REAL ID marking (a star or similar), or alternative forms of identification like a valid passport.

 

To get a REAL ID, you must visit your local DMV and provide the documents required for this. It can take about 2 weeks or 15 business days to process this. Plan now to get your REAL ID if you want to fly domestically.

Throughout the tour you will learn a little bit about Palma's past, from its beginnings as a Roman camp to its current place as the modern-day capital of the Balearic Islands of Spain.

While in town, take an approximately 45-minute guided visit inside the beautiful Palma Cathedral. Built over a period of hundreds of years and completed in 1601, this impressive Gothic structure was constructed over the site of a Moorish-era mosque and, at 44 meters tall, has one of the highest naves of all Gothic cathedrals.
