Information about the REAL ID

 

Starting May 7, 2025, travelers aged 18 and older will need a REAL ID-compliant document to fly domestically. Acceptable documents include state-issued driver's license or ID cards with the REAL ID marking (a star or similar), or alternative forms of identification like a valid passport.

 

To get a REAL ID, you must visit your local DMV and provide the documents required for this. It can take about 2 weeks or 15 business days to process this. Plan now to get your REAL ID if you want to fly domestically.

Icy Strait Point, Alaska Stream Fishing Day Tour

Chichagof Island offers a renowned salmon and trout fishing experience, and this Alaskan Stream Fishing tour will take you to it!

On this Icy Strait point fishing expedition, you will be provided with an ultra-light spinning rod casting artificial lures. Gear, tackle and assistance for any experience level are also provided to guarantee that this trip will be a highlight of your trip to Alaska.

Depending on the time of year, angling opportunities include Dolly Varden trout, Cutthroat trout, Pink (Humpy) salmon, Chum (Dog) salmon, Coho (Silver) salmon, and Steelhead.

A few hours at one of the cool, gorgeous streams will show you that tales of catching nearly 100 fish a day is no fish story! Your fishing expert guide has more than 45 years of experience. The program is catch and release.

Keep your eyes open for a view of a mink, marten, otter, beavers, or a possible brown bear sighting.

Please Note: All guests ages 16 and older must have a fishing license. Mandatory fishing licenses (not included, approximately $25 US) can be purchased online or by cash directly from your captain. This tour is catch and release only.

For all tours in Alaska, we recommend wearing layers with the top layer being waterproof. Sensible walking / hiking shoes that may get wet are also suggested.
