Information about the REAL ID

Starting May 7, 2025, travelers aged 18 and older will need a REAL ID-compliant document to fly domestically. Acceptable documents include state-issued driver's license or ID cards with the REAL ID marking (a star or similar), or alternative forms of identification like a valid passport.

To get a REAL ID, you must visit your local DMV and provide the documents required for this. It can take about 2 weeks or 15 business days to process this. Plan now to get your REAL ID if you want to fly domestically.

For more information and to see the list of TSA-approved alternatives to the REAL ID, go to the website: www.dhs.gov/real-id

Chulitna Gorge River Tour

Hop aboard a jet boat and enjoy an Alaska trip like no other. Your river tour takes you down three beautiful rivers: The Susitna, the Chulitna and the Talkeetna. In total, you'll explore 60 miles of river. Join us today on this scenic Talkeetna tour.

Once you hop aboard one of the technologically advanced jet boats, the fun begins. As you explore three different rivers, you'll enjoy views of natural wonders like Denali and Tokosha Mountains. You may also see bald eagles, beavers, and bears, depending on the time of your tour. There is a 1/4-mile nature walk on this tour; the walk treats you to a closeup look at an encampment used by the area's earliest settlers. History buffs will love this stop: the trapper cabin here still has its original furnishings! Throughout the tour, your guide will share fun facts about your surroundings. Your guide will acquaint you with the wildflowers and plants that grow in abundance along the river system, and you will learn about the edible plants that were used by the Native Americans for cooking and medicines that we still use today.

The folklore, artifacts, and panoramic view of Denali in the Alaska Range make this an unforgettable and unique Alaskan river adventure. Make your reservation before space fills up!
