Information about the REAL ID

Starting May 7, 2025, travelers aged 18 and older will need a REAL ID-compliant document to fly domestically. Acceptable documents include state-issued driver's license or ID cards with the REAL ID marking (a star or similar), or alternative forms of identification like a valid passport.

To get a REAL ID, you must visit your local DMV and provide the documents required for this. It can take about 2 weeks or 15 business days to process this. Plan now to get your REAL ID if you want to fly domestically.

For more information and to see the list of TSA-approved alternatives to the REAL ID, go to the website: www.dhs.gov/real-id

Private Discover Palma on Foot

Palma is the capital and largest city on Mallorca just off the coast of Spain. This fascinating little island in the Balearic Islands has been highly fought over and colonized throughout the decades by the Romans, the Byzantine Empire and the Moors. During this special guided walk, you will visit the town square and historical area while learning about the city's rich history from its storied pirate days to the present. Along the way your guide will explain what you are seeing and put everything in proper context.

Walk over to Palma Cathedral, an imposing Gothic Roman cathedral standing 44 meters tall. Built over a Moorish-era mosque, this cathedral took almost four centuries to be completed. From there it is a short walk to the stately Almudaina Palace.

This Arabian fort-turned-royal residence is used today by the royal family to hold ceremonies and state receptions. Continue your tour of the city as you stroll through the narrow streets, charming squares and past hidden gems such as the Arab Baths. Learn about Palma's Jewish culture and community as you walk past the area that was the Jewish Quarter in the 16th century. Conclude your tour with a chance to see examples of modernism architecture and discover how art noveau came to the city.

This private tour has built-in flexibility which allows you to make changes to the itinerary or stay longer for photo stops.

Book now for a wonderful introduction to the amazing city of Palma on your terms.
