Information about the REAL ID

 

Starting May 7, 2025, travelers aged 18 and older will need a REAL ID-compliant document to fly domestically. Acceptable documents include state-issued driver's license or ID cards with the REAL ID marking (a star or similar), or alternative forms of identification like a valid passport.

 

To get a REAL ID, you must visit your local DMV and provide the documents required for this. It can take about 2 weeks or 15 business days to process this. Plan now to get your REAL ID if you want to fly domestically.

An approximately 15-minute taxi (approximately $5 to $10 US each way, not included) is required to reach your departure location. Full details will be provided in your electronic ticket upon confirmation.
