Information about the REAL ID

Starting May 7, 2025, travelers aged 18 and older will need a REAL ID-compliant document to fly domestically. Acceptable documents include state-issued driver's license or ID cards with the REAL ID marking (a star or similar), or alternative forms of identification like a valid passport.

To get a REAL ID, you must visit your local DMV and provide the documents required for this. It can take about 2 weeks or 15 business days to process this. Plan now to get your REAL ID if you want to fly domestically.

For more information and to see the list of TSA-approved alternatives to the REAL ID, go to the website: www.dhs.gov/real-id

Day Trip, Private Tour
Offer Image
Set off on a three-hour, flexible, and private tour in Ketchikan, Alaska, offering an unmatched blend of adventure, relaxation, wildlife, and cultural immersion.

Private 3 Hour Ketchikan Exploration

Embark on a private adventure through the scenic landscapes and rich cultural history of Ketchikan, Alaska. Tailored exclusively for your group, this tour guarantees that your family and friends will be the only guests in a comfortable, spacious tour van, offering a personalized and relaxed experience. With the flexibility to set your own pace, you can enjoy the natural beauty of Ketchikan without feeling rushed.

As you journey through Ketchikan's wild terrain, keep an eye out for local wildlife. While sightings are never guaranteed, your guide will take you to the best spots for observing bears, bald eagles, seals, and salmon in their natural habitat. The Inside Passage offers an additional treat, where you can explore tide pools brimming with fascinating marine life like starfish, sea urchins, crabs, and sea anemones.

Step out of the van and find yourself just moments away from a breathtaking waterfall surrounded by lush rainforest. For those craving more adventure, there's an option to take a short 10-minute hike to a second, equally stunning waterfall. Please note that the terrain for this hike can be uneven and may not be suitable for everyone, but your guide will be happy to accommodate your group's preferences. The choice is yours -- stick to the easy-access waterfall or venture further into the wilderness for a more immersive experience.

In addition to the natural wonders, you'll also dive into Ketchikan's vibrant history with stops at a local Totem Park, a traditional Blacksmith shop, and a retired Lumber Sawmill. Your guide will bring these sites to life with engaging stories that offer a glimpse into the heritage of this unique region.

Please Note: A $10 entry fee per person grants access to The Herring Bay Lumber Company, Sawmill, and Totem Park. This fee is not included in the tour price.
