Information about the REAL ID

Starting May 7, 2025, travelers aged 18 and older will need a REAL ID-compliant document to fly domestically. Acceptable documents include state-issued driver's license or ID cards with the REAL ID marking (a star or similar), or alternative forms of identification like a valid passport.

To get a REAL ID, you must visit your local DMV and provide the documents required for this. It can take about 2 weeks or 15 business days to process this. Plan now to get your REAL ID if you want to fly domestically.

Private Santorini Secrets, Photo Stops, and Wine Tasting

For photography enthusiasts visiting Santorini, this is an ideal way to explore the island. Start your exclusive tour in Oia, a village nestled in Santorini's northwestern expanse with commanding vistas of the caldera.

From here, move on to Imerovigli, celebrated as Santorini's most exquisite village. Diverging from the bustling atmosphere of Oia, Imerovigli presents a more tranquil ambiance, offering spellbinding perspectives of the Anastasi Orthodox Church, Skaros Rock, and the concealed Theoskepasti Church. Roam the picturesque white pathways and staircases, adorned with bougainvilleas, making for idyllic photos.

Continuing our sojourn, ascend the zenith of Santorini, the summit of Mountain Profitis Ilias. Nestled here is the eponymous monastery, providing a panoramic spectacle of the island, caldera, and neighboring isles from an elevation of 2,000 feet (600 meters) above sea level.

A visit to the Koutsogianopoulos Winery Museum follows, a pivotal site at which to comprehend the island's wine heritage. Delve into the island's viticultural history and partake in tasting several locally crafted wine variations unique to Santorini.

Progressing onward, we'll unveil Santorini's true heart - a concealed jewel that has garnered newfound popularity among visitors. Behold the heart-shaped aperture within the rock, offering glimpses of the Aegean Sea, the heavens, and the volcano, delivering a singular and indelible encounter.

Our final destination is the Akrotiri Lighthouse, positioned at the island's southwestern extremity and renowned for its breathtaking vistas.
