Information about the REAL ID

Starting May 7, 2025, travelers aged 18 and older will need a REAL ID-compliant document to fly domestically. Acceptable documents include state-issued driver's license or ID cards with the REAL ID marking (a star or similar), or alternative forms of identification like a valid passport.

Private Historical St Andrews and Fishing Villages of Fife

Set off on a journey through the rich history and scenic beauty of Edinburgh, exploring the iconic St. Andrews and the charming fishing villages of Fife. This enriching excursion combines historical sites, stunning landscapes, and cultural experiences, making it perfect for those who wish to discover the heart of Scotland in one day.

Your adventure begins when our driver picks you up directly from your Edinburgh port. The first stop is the impressive Blackness Castle, often referred to as "the ship that never sailed" due to its unique ship-like shape. Here, you can wander the ancient ramparts and soak in panoramic views of the Firth of Forth. Opt for a tour inside to delve deeper into its storied past.

Crossing the Queensferry, you'll enter the Kingdom of Fife, heading straight to the regal Falkland Palace. This former royal residence of the Scottish Kings, and a favorite retreat of Mary, Queen of Scots, offers a glimpse into Scotland's Renaissance splendor with its beautiful gardens and exquisite interiors.

Continuing east, we'll explore the picturesque fishing villages of Fife, each brimming with character and maritime history. Our main destination is St. Andrews, a town celebrated for its prestigious university, medieval ruins, and as the global home of golf. Stroll through its historic streets, visit the atmospheric cathedral ruins, and, if you're a golf enthusiast, seize the chance to snap a photo on the famous Swilcan Bridge at the Old Course.

We'll make an optional stop at Anstruther, where you can indulge in award-winning fish and chips, before visiting the ancient town of Culross. Wander its cobbled streets and explore its charming castle and gardens, stepping back in time to the days of yore.

The tour concludes with a scenic drive back to Edinburgh, dropping you off at the port in time for your ship's departure, filled with memories of Scotland's rich heritage and breathtaking landscapes.

Join us for this unforgettable journey through Scotland's past and present, where history and culture meet stunning natural beauty. Book your spot now for an experience tailored for history buffs and explorers alike!
